Product Range

ATP Electronic Developments Ltd supply a large range of remanufactured fuel injection parts and a small range of aftermarket replacement parts. We specialise mainly in European vehicles, but we do cover a small amount of Japanese and Korean. For a complete list see our product list or complete the enquiry form and we will forward you an information pack. Every remanufactured part ATP supplies is covered by a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty. The warranty covers faults in manufacture or remanufacture only.

Air Flow Meters-

This provides an "engine load dependant" signal to either a fuel injection or engine management electronic control unit. The two main types are the electro-mechanical "flap" or the electronic "hot wire" versions. Other methods of load measurement are available e.g exhaust gas sensing, ultrasonic etc.

Air Flow Meter

Ancilliary ECU`s -

This is a range of electronic control units covering various functions. This includes idle speed control units, ignition advance, power amplifiers etc.

Idle Speed ECU

Automatic Transmission ECU`s -

These electronic control units control the functions of electronically controlled automatic transmission systems.

Automatic Transmission ECU

Carburettor ECU`s -

These electronic control units operate an electronically controlled carburettor and typically functions such as idle speed, cold start enrichment (choke) and fuel cut-off. On certain vehicles it also feeds the temperature gauge/temperature warning light.

Lucas 4CM ECU

Fuel Distributor Blocks -

These form part of the mixture control unit. It meters the quatity of fuel injected by responding to the flow of air being drawn into the engine via the airflow sensor.

Distributor Block

Engine Management ECU`s -

These electronic control units incorporate all the functions of ignition and fuel injection control. In some instances other features have been added, such as automatic transmission control.

Bosch M1.5 ECU

Fuel Injection ECU`s -

These electronic control units control the amount of fuel required by an engine. They respond to engine RPM from an ignition signal or separate pick-up and engine load. Two types of engine load measurements are common, 1) Air flow measurement via an air flow meter, 2) Pressure measurement by means of one or more pressure sensors mounted separately or sometimes incorporated within the electronic control unit.

Fuel Pumps -

For all types of fuel injection systems the fuel pump is most important and is frequently required to deliver fuel well in excess of an engines requirements in order to maintain injector pressure at full load or under heavy acceleration.

Fuel Pump

Ignition ECU`s -

These programmed digital ignition electronic control units often incorporates an ignition amplifier and electronically control spark adavance and retard. Some units also feature knock control.

Ignition ECU

Ignition Coils -

There a several types of ignition coils available, the most common ones fitted today are wasted spark or direct ignition versions. Wasted spark versions have a HT coil for each plug, in the form of a double ended coil for each pair of cylinders. Direct ignition versions have a seperate coil for each spark plug and is mounted directly onto the plug.

Ignition Modules -

These modules are in effect ignition amplifiers only and are supplied as new rather than as an exchange part. They are used for switching power to the coil, usually in response to signals generated by a mechanical distributor, although some are driven by an electronic ignition advance/retard unit or engine management electronic control unit.

Fiat Ignition Module

Temperature Sensors/Senders -

These sensors changes its resistance in proportion to the engine coolant temperature or intake air temperature changes, depending on sensor type..

Coolant Temperature Sensor

Warm-up Regulators -

The warm-up regulators function is to modify the fuelling curve by allowing more fuel to be injected during the engine warm-up stage. Certain units also provide fuel enrichments under full load or acceleration.
